Cake Shop Takes Over Itsy Bitsy Storefront

A Kensington resident is hoping her new cake shop will be a new daytime and weekend destination for those with a sweet tooth.

Jenny Smith will open JennyCakes Bakery in the storefront that housed

Her store is set to open April 5.

Look for a Q&A with Smith, next Monday on Kensington Patch.

JennyCakes Bakery will open its doors on Thursday, April 5 followed by a grand opening a few weeks later. Remember there will be lots for the person with a sweet tooth but I also hope to have some breads, savory muffins and quiches as well. :) Jenny Smith
