- The Brookside Gardens visitors center is showcasing a free exhibition of drawings and paintings by local artists.

- The Montgomery Art Association has settled into its new gallery space in Westfield Wheaton mall. Its current art show runs through December 2 and features local artists.

- Brookside Nature Center will have a "Get Ready for Winter" storytime on Sunday afternoon about how birds and animals prepare for winter, followed by a short nature walk.
