Check out some events coming to the Strathmore this week.

April 8:

Head to the Strathmore to take in a little arts and culture. Learn about the history and architecture of the Mansion at Strathmore on a guided tour.

April 9: Discover Jazz

Find out what's happening in Kensingtonwith free, real-time updates from Patch.

Music Education at the Strathmore presents this Family Discovery opportunity. Come to the Shapiro Music Room in the mansion to learn more about the history of jazz, musicians and the music. Parents with children age 6 and older are encouraged to attend.

April 10: Interpreting Stravinsky

April 12 and 13:

It's that time of the week again when you can sit back, relax and sip some tea while enjoying a light lunch and live music. This week's musical guests include Karen Ashbrook (wooden flute), and Elizabeth Beneforado (piano).

April 15: Charlie Chaplin’s The Gold Rush

The Strathmore will show Chaplin's favorite film in its entirety as the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra performs his original musical score.
