Join the National Philharmonic for a performance of Mozart selections. Piotr Gajewski will conduct Christopher Taylor (piano), Danielle Talamantes (soprano), Linda Maguire (mezzo-soprano), Robert Baker (tenor) and Christòpheren Nomura (baritone) as the perform Symphoy No. 20 in D Major, Piano Concerto No. 26 in D Major "Coronation" and Mass in C Major "Coronation."

This adult education lecture will be led by Professor Connaitre Miller of Howard University. The lecture and discussion will cover the elements of music that define jazz and the socio-economic and political influences on the development of jazz.

Feb. 15:

This week's Music in the Mansion features cellist Alisa Weilerstein and vocalist/pianist Gabriel Kahane. The duo will perform Bach’s Unaccompanied Cello Suite No. 5 and solo works from Kahane.

Feb. 16:

Sit back and relax from the hustle and bustle of every day life and enjoy some afternoon tea at the Strathmore. Tea is prepared by Master Tea Blender John Harney, is served with a light lunch. Reservations are required.

Feb. 17:

The Robert Johnson Centennial Concert will feature performances by Big Head Todd & The Monsters, David “Honeyboy” Edwards, Hubert Sumlin and Cedric Burnside & Lightnin’ Malcolm.
