This Washington, DC-based rock band counts delta blues and pop rock among its influences. It's known for high-energy, danceable music with catchy melodies. Featuring a Happy Hour from 8 to 9 p.m. Tickets at the door are $12.

March 5:  BSO:  Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody

Receiving its world premiere 76 years ago at the Lyric Opera House in Baltimore, Rachmaninoff’s famous Rhapsody is in the hands of Czech pianist Lukas Vondracek, who made his BSO debut two years ago. Marin Alsop will also conduct two symphonies by Sergei Prokofiev. A free pre-concert lecture will be offered in partnership with the Levine School of Music.

March 7:  Jazz singing class

Strathmore kicks off a six-week series, on Mondays through April 11, in the Shapiro music room designed for students who have some previous jazz singing experience. Led by Howard University professor Connaitre Miller, this class is designed to build on basic skills and help  students take their vocal performance to the next level. The class will conclude with a cabaret performance.

March 8:  Cirque Mechanics Boomtown

The acrobats of Cirque Mechanics will transport you to the 1865 mining town of Rosebud, where an unlikely discovery sets off a series of  unexpected events full of Old West adventure.

March 9:  Maryland Classic Youth Orchestra:  Romantics and Beyond

The orchestra presents the Young Artists Orchestra and Baltimore's
Tuned-In Wind Ensemble in a program featuring the music of
Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich, Holst, Puccini and Stravinsky.

March 10:  BSO SuperPops:  A Celtic Celebration

This program is designed to explore a wide range of Irish and Celtic repertoire with singers, step dancers, a traditional Irish instrumentalist and an audience sing-along. Highlights include excerpts from An Irish Symphony, Four Scottish Dances and Finian’s Rainbow.
