The Tragical Mirth of Marriage & Love Comes to Kensington

A summer farce for the post-DOMA age.

Some marriages are tragic. Some farcical. Most are said to be challenging. From the proposal to the wedding to the anniversary, two actors trace the course of five romantic relationships as they travel the shifts of courtship, romance, marriage and family duty in this play presented by the Pallas Theatre Collective.

The short scenes by Anton Chekhov examine the human impulse to make melodrama out of the crossroads in life and the emotion involved whenever the in-laws enter the situation.
