Bring the kids to Glen Echo Park at 9:30 a.m. and join the stars of The Puppet Co.'s production of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves" for breakfast. Stay after breakfast to see the performance and get an autograph from Snow White and her prince! Tickets are $60 for children ($30 is tax-deductible) and $75 for adults ($45 is tax-deductible).

Saturday, May 21:

The Day of the Book Festival is a thing of the past, but luckily for literary lovers, the Gaithersburg Book Festival is now underway. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. listen to authors read excerpts from their books, get author autographs and peruse books.

Doorway Arts Ensemble and Arts Alive Theatre presents "The Race"—an autobiographical play that explores a white man’s awareness of race and racism—at Montgomery College Cultural Arts Center in Silver Spring.

Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bethesda will host its spring choral concert. The event is free and open to the public, but a free-will offering will be taken to benefit the current Thrivent Builds House—a Montgomery County Habitat for Humanity project.
