Get Out: April 15 - 17

It's Thursday and you're still not sure what to do this weekend. Don't worry, Kensington Patch has suggestions for you.

Friday, April 15: Head to the in Silver Spring to view a movie as part of . Moms, dads or caretakers are invited to a matinee screening, where it's OK to bring the kids along. The lights remain dimly lit and the volume of the movie remains at a comfortable level. This week catch "Jane Eyre" or "Win Win."

Saturday, April 16: Starting at 10 a.m. head to Veteran's Plaza in downtown Silver Spring for . Sponsored by the School of Rock, this rock concert is just for kids (and the family too).

Saturday, April 16: The brings students, faculty, staff, alumni, parishioners, and friends of together to raise money for a new library for the school. After the race, a family festival will be held on the school grounds.

Sunday, April 17: is finally here. Head to Antique Row to meet and greet local authors, get a book appraised, and . The festival is free and open to the public and goes from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine. Kensington Patch will have a booth set up, so stop by and say "hello."
