Local Artist: Marion Griffin

The Chesapeake Framing Co. is pleased to feature artwork by Marion Griffin.
Marion Griffin is our local Washington artist this October, the featured work is mainly abstract acrylics and watercolors. Meet the artist reception is Saturday, October 1st from 1 pm - 4 pm.

Marion Griffin began her artistic career painting representational watercolors. Through the years, with the influence of several amazing teachers, she
developed an inclination toward abstract thought.
For the past seven years she has pursued abstract imagery. Marion finds excitement and inspiration in the spontaneous manipulation of the style in which form, line and color interact and evolve organically.
