Congressman Van Hollen hosts Congressional Art Competition

Congressman Chris Van Hollen announces the Congressional Art Competition, which is now open for submissions. Forms and information can be obtained at http://vanhollen.house.gov. High school students who live or attend school in the 8th Congressional District of Maryland can submit their work for the competition, sponsored by Congressman Van Hollen.  The winning entry will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year. To participate, students must complete and submit an entry form by Friday, April 13, 2012. Artwork can be submitted on Friday April 20th or Saturday, April 21st. Congressman Van Hollen will host an Arts Celebration and Awards Reception to showcase the exhibit, honor all participants and announce awards at VisArts on Monday, April 30, 2012.
