Artist-in-Residence: Alicia Ward

Cellist Alicia Ward began studying the cello at age six. She has performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center and the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory.

As part of her Artist-in-Residence performance, Ward will play a commissioned piece composed especially for her by Boston-based composer and violinist Ethan Wood titled “Elegy for cello and piano.”
