Why Go: Always wanted to learn how to draw a monkey? A giraffe? A jackalope? Well, here's a chance for your kids to learn how and maybe you'll get some tips too. Don't forget to register.

• CELEBRATE THE YEAR OF THE RABBIT
Where/When: On Saturday, Davis Library hosts a at 10:30 a.m.
Why Go: The whole family gets to experience Chinese culture through fun activities and amazing performances.

• ARTS ON THE BLOCK
Where/When: Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at Arts on the Block.
Why Go: Kids get to help animals by making mosaic Valentines to benefit the Montgomery County Humane Society, and everyone can have fun with a variety of activities.

• FREE FAMILY FUN DAY
Where/When: Sunday at the Beall-Dawson House from noon to 4 p.m.
Why Go: Get a tour of the Beall-Dawson House and Stonestreet Museum, check out some vintage Valentines and make some Valentines of your own, compliments of the Montgomery County Historical Society.

Where/When: Rockville Town Square hosts this great event from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Why Go: Here's a chance to celebrate winter with ice sculptures of your kids' favorite characters, music, games and more. Get some great deals at restaurants and stores, too.
