Change the World: St. Paul’s Great Day of Service

Cleaning up Rock Creek, making cards for members of the Armed Services, and a car wash to benefit the children of the woman killed near the Kensington Chipotle are some of the community-service activities available during “Change the World: St. Paul’s Great Day of Service” on Sunday, May 20 at St. Paul’s UMC in Kensington.

People of all ages and abilities are needed to participate in one of 10 service-related activities to help the poor, the homeless, or simply neighbors in need. Or people can choose an activity to help care for the environment or St. Paul’s church itself. All materials will be supplied.

After attending the 9:00 a.m. service at St. Paul’s, participants work with church members and other neighbors on their chosen activity from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
