Dealing with themes of guilt, Jewish identity, the father/son dynamic, and the responsibilities of the Second Generation, Winter Journey is moving proof of William Faulkner’s observation that “the past is never dead; it isn’t even past.” Based on “The Inextinguishable Symphony” by Martin Goldsmith and starring Bruno Ganz in his last film appearance. If your child loves to draw and paint and wants to learn more, this is the class!
Children learn drawing and painting at the foundational level while experiencing the joy of drawing what they love. Perhaps it's gorgeous birds or maybe animals placed in creative and fun scenes. 



This class includes instruction on composition, 2-dimensional lines and shapes, color theory, and techniques for creating exciting artworks. Students also explore the technique of shading to begin their inroduction to 3-dimensional drawing. The class explores various art mediums including graphite drawing pencils, color brush pens, watercolor pencils, and other art mediums that help students to learn and produce accurate and exciting artwork. Children learn by following the instructor in guided drawing and painting instruction.

This class session is 75 minutes long and open to new and existing students.
