Worship has been at the center of the life and ministry of the historical Warner Memorial Presbyterian Church in Kensington, Maryland since 1893. Our 11:00 AM Sunday worship service is a traditional service held in our Sanctuary. Music is provided by a variety of choirs, bell choirs, brass and soloists. Communion is served the first Sunday of each month. Our Sunday morning and special seasonal worship times always include a warm welcome, as a reflection of what God does for us all. Reflection on scripture, the sacraments of baptism and communion, and times of prayer enable us to return God’s embrace and help us to draw closer to one another. Warner’s staff follows their calling with open hearts, draws upon decades of experience, and works together collegially and synergistically to provide deep and enriching worship experiences.
In addition to our weekly Sunday service, several special worship services are held throughout the year. Warner choirs and instrumentalists enhance our worship services and include the Children's Choir for children in grades 2-5, the Youth Choir for youth in grades 6-12, the Sanctuary Choir for adults, and Hand Bell Choirs for both adults and youth. Warner also sponsors non-worship concerts and recitals throughout the year.
In addition to on-street parking, free parking is available in the Warner parking lot at the corner of Connecticut Avenue and Prospect Street. For directions to Warner, click here. For more information about Warner visit our website, www.warnermemorial.org.

More About Warner Memorial Presbyterian Church
Warner Memorial Presbyterian Church is a friendly community that offers much more than worship services. From friendship club, to a learning center for young children, to a club for seniors, this church has something for everyone.
When you walk in the entrance, there is a barrel that reads, "For I was hungry," where members can donate canned goods. The church also accepts eye glasses for donation and ink and toner for recycling.
Warner Memorial Presbyterian Church participates in the Meals on Wheels program. Members can also submit "news from the pews" and "prayer requests" to be used during mass and in the bulletin.
