Whiz Kid: Aida Stevenson

This week's Whiz Kid is from Newport Mill Middle School.

Every week, Kensington Patch will feature a local kid who has done something remarkable, whether at school, church or in the neighborhood. We want to hear about these amazing children and teens, and we will select one each week as the Kensington Patch Whiz Kid. This week's Whiz Kid is a student at Newport Mill Middle School.

  • Whiz Kid Aida Stevenson, 7th Grade
  • Newport Mill Middle School
  • Accomplishment: Stevenson helped plan the clean up of the school grounds.
  • Key to Awesomeness: Aida Stevenson helped jump-start the planning to clean up the school grounds this year. Her effort along with help from Scott Harper, Parent Teacher Student Association president, a small group of students, family and teachers gathered at Newport Mill on Saturday, April 9. With the group's hard work, the school is now a safer place for students and free of debris.
