Walter Reed Bethesda Security Measures Could Cause Backups Tuesday
Rockville Pike traffic could be affected from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Increased security measures at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center could have a "significant" impact on traffic Tuesday afternoon, county BRAC coordinator Phil Alperson wrote in an email Monday.
The security measures were expected to impact roads around the military hospital, particularly Rockville Pike, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Drivers should expect delays and intermittent road closures, Alperson said.
