UPDATE: Northbound Connecticut Reopens After Crash

The collision resulted in non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

 

Updated, 2:35 p.m.: The northbound lanes of Connecticut Avenue at Weller Road are now clear after being closed for an hour due to a crash, Montgomery County Police said.

Police couldn't provide details of the crash but said it resulted in non-life-threatening injuries and was cleared by 1:30 p.m.

Original post, 12:49 p.m.: A crash on northbound Connecticut Avenue has has halted traffic in that direction at Weller Road, just north of Kensington, police said.

Officers are on the scene dealing with a personal injury collision, Montgomery County Police spokeswoman Rebecca Innocenti said, and it's unclear when traffic flow will return to normal.
