The robbery took place around 7 p.m. on Saturday.

An armed robbery brought police to Glenmont Circle in the Wheaton-Glenmont area shortly after 7 p.m. on Saturday, according to the Montgomery County Police Department.

The suspect appeared to be a man about 19 or 20 years old, wearing a black North Face jacket and armed with a handgun. He was last seen getting into a black vehicle heading eastbound on Randolph Road, police said.

As of 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, police no longer were on the scene gathering information, police added.

Police did not release what items—if any—were taken from the victim.
